Park James Hotel invites guests to an unforgettable evening where culinary artistry meets the cosmos. Celestial Evenings is an intimate, elevated experience combining guided stargazing with a multi-course tasting menu at Oak + Violet, curated by Michelin-starred Chef Joseph Humphrey.
The Experience
The evening begins with a private stargazing session featuring a Unistellar deep space smart telescope, offering guests a rare opportunity to explore the night sky in stunning clarity. With real-time viewing of celestial objects—planets, galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters—guests are
guided through the wonders of the universe in an engaging, accessible way. Set against the refined backdrop of Park James Hotel, this immersive experience invites curiosity, connection, and wonder.
The Dinner at Oak + Violet
Following stargazing, guests are welcomed into Oak + Violet for a seasonal tasting menu thoughtfully curated by Chef Joseph Humphrey. Inspired by the evening’s celestial theme, each course highlights locally sourced, peak-season ingredients, refined technique, and elegant
presentation. Optional wine pairings—curated in partnership with James Beard Award-winner Shelley Lindgren—enhance each course, creating a harmonious balance between cuisine, wine, and atmosphere.
